Heads Up!!!!
Heads Up!!!!
Columbia's gone!
Columbus, the Discoverer
Break free
Strive your whole life to discover a new threshold
And to search outwardly for a fresh understanding
Break free
Dig for the courage and the adventuresome spirit
To be the vanguard for all Mankind's benefit
Break free
Leave behind the security of our womb Earth
And explore with bright eyes and sharp mind the cosmos
Break free
Under the yokes of dedication and sacrifice
Dig for the mettle to press onward into the hinterland
Break free
Returning from the wilderness, just 16 minutes from home,
It suddenly means something altogether new.

I find it amazing that any astronaut would ever want to lift of anymore knowing that mission control will make decisions as such. “Let’s just hope it doesn’t disintegrate on reentry”.onelegdis wrote:????????
