Glad I read this thread, I just got a new tx2 shipped to me from another forum forsale thread, and was planning on using it in my bp6. So I gotta flash the bios that removes the bios splashscreen ( I am aware device may still show up in device manager, thats ok).
My question is this: Does the version of the non-hpt366 bios have the p3 microcode? Do I even need the p3 microcode, I am currently running a fcpga celemine 1000 on a neo s370.

It does more than that; it contains the code allowing the computer to recognize the Pentium 3.
