I desided to (one more time!) revive one of my BP6's. With 2 366's @ 66mhz, a vid card installed, 1 stick PC133 SDRAM (256meg), one hard drive and 2 daisy chained optical drives on (IDE-1 & IDE-2) plus a 3COM ISA NIC I installed WIN98SE and WIN2K Pro, dual-boot.
All went well until I tried to install the HPT drivers (1.28 BIOS, 1.25.1 drivers for WIN2K, has worked well for me before). WIN98SE works just fine with its' HPT drivers and a hard drive on IDE-3 & 4.
I can hook up 2 drives, one to each to IDE-3 and IDE-4 on the HPT controller in WIN98SE.
However, when I load the WIN2K 1.25.1 drivers it says all is ok but I get a BSOD on IDE-3.
I can hook up #1 hard drive ( my OS drive) on IDE-4 but if I try to slave my 60 gig NTFS empty video capture drive to the master on IDE-4 I get another BSOD?
Ideas, thoughts anyone?

Problem solved!
Looks like something got scrambled in the boot sector for WIN2K. After re-formating and reloading all is well (again!).
