Hi!

Leave the disk in your floppy, when booting from cd, normaly you don't need to press F6, windows looks for itself if there is a disk with drivers and loads them.

To let W2k3 recognize your 2nd CPU you have to change your HAL. You can change it in Device manager -> Computer...but often this will kill your system and you have to reinstall :-(

Bye...

you do not need to search anything in microsoft, just you go to device manager and under computer you select "ACPI multiprocessor PC" - or whatver is similar to that in W2k3 :)

and for god's and your own sake, take those HDD's of yours OUT of that HPT666 (you could notice I call it 666!!!) controler and seal those ide 3-4 port forever!!!

Well, unless your REALY DO NOT care about your precious data on your HDDs and maybe if you can afford yourself for the "Sudden HHD on your HPT666 Death/Corruption/Damage Syndrome" and them throw them away anyday of these... You will never know which of them will be and then it strikes you...

Well, then yes, you COULD use that HPT controller, but do not blame anyone, you have been warned :D

GOOD LUCK, really GOOD LUCK!! :)
