Although the BeOS seems dead, it really is not. It still has a future.
I installed BeOS 5 once on the BP6 and it worked like a charm...
If you don't know what to do with your (old and obsolete ) BP6, give it a try!

I'm still booting between WindowsXP and my proper OS, BeOS
It really flies on SMP computers, and has a great BP6 monitoring app and drivers for the HPT366 (though I never use that damned interface).

OpenBeOS looks like it'll be really good when it's finished. As soon as it's useable I'm going to organize a partition for it.

BeOS and BP6 rock's da house
Okie doke - just got me a BP6 off eBay and built a new pc around it - chucked my BeOS disk in from my old box, booted up and everything works like a charm - marvellous!!! ;o)
