Johnny 5 at warp 9 and climbing, I DOOD IT!

Post by jaybird »

I am writting this from a modified BP6 running 2 1100E PIII @ 100 Mhz FSB!

Windows 98SE loaded fine, no problems.

However, I am having problems loading WIN2K PRO and SP4.

Will post pics and keep all posted!

that would be a lot of Win98SE using only one cpu
and Win2k trying to use two.
which, I think, would be mostly the extra load on the BX and the getting it cooled properly.
or extra extra properly.!!!

Jay...
Does it boot W2K at 66FSB?
There are *almost* no bad BP6s. There are mostly bad caps.

No BP6s remaining

Cannot boot into win2k @ 66mhz, says cpu configuration is incorrect.

Note: previous board (0.40, not 0.41 such as this one), did not give me this problem.

Will try and go back now that 0.40 board has been repaired and try again.

However, business rears its' ugly head and says I need to get something done to bring "income" into the house (oh my god! reality rears its' ugly head!).

To be continued  !
