I think that's all htat you need for the beginning, but it will probably will not be completely stable with two of the P3.... so later on eventually you'll have to change the caps.
I have just bought the soldering iron, solder, stand for it, desoldering iron, so this weekend I plan to read on the guides how to solder, then practice on some old PCB board changing caps. also I plan to start looking for the best caps available for changing all the caps on BP6 (cause it locks up just everytime now... everytime I play some game for 0.5-2.5 hours... eventually it will lock that the mouse and keyboard won't respond or will ock completely...
So If I get all the caps needed in two weeks, expect to see some photos here! (that's if my flatmate lets me her cam...
So if anyone from those guru guys sees my post, so then the question is which caps should I get? manufacturer, specs... etc... if anyone here knows what caps to lok for (the best ones please! )), so just do not hesitate and write to me or post it here better!
C U all
Do I have this right?
I guess you should think about some nice piece of copper on it if you plan to go farHoly Roman Empire wrote:Don't worry about the northbridge. I've got a 486 HSF and a tube of AS Thermal Adhesive with its name on it.
Vampir, You are saying that the capacitors are not the limiting factor, but the Voltage Regulator? Where do I get a better unit from?
