I need a new BP6

Post by MarkHenderson »

My BP6 is failing. The cause I think is the leaky caps, but if I can get ahold of a BP6 for under 50 bucks then I would rather just buy a working board then attempt to repair it. Or at least have an extra board incase I botch my repair job.

If anyone has got a good working board laying around please let me know.

Thanks.

it would help if your profile told us where you were
then the USA / Aust ppl could help you.

I did the EC10 update at the local tv repair shop on the ONE board that has needed it.
get some1 who knows his way around a soldering iron (def not me, my little bro used to be good) and they won't charge much. I hope.

the BP6 is a good board, that is if the caps didn't go bad on you, but it's also five years old, its not worth more then 50 bucks, to think that my working board that I paid 145 for back in 1999 is still worth 100... well its a nice board, but its not that nice....

I updated my p[rofile to reflect where I'm located.

If you're still looking, e-mail me. alexsquared@comcast.net. I have a bp6, and (2) matching 533's.
