Not Bogus. But better to get a VP6 for this, maybe?

Apparently, they're all talking about it over at www.vp6-board.com

Here's an excerpt from the Sept 5th news:

Well you may have a way to uprage to Tualatin CPUs soon. Upgradeware.com has a Socket 370 FC-PGA to FC-PGA2 available.According to their site it does work in a dual CPU configuration.

After talking to their Tech Support thru email i was told that they will be testing them on the Abit VP6 in the next couple of weeks. So if you have been waiting for a way to upgrade to a Tualatin CPU keep your fingers crossed.Ill post more information once it is available. You can check out the adapter here."

seems to me, you could do the "BP6 MOD", then slap in a pair of Neo S370 adapters, into which you would install these new adapters. As long as it isn't too precarious, like balancing too many chairs on top of one another to change a lightbulb that's out of reach, you might just get away with it. Of course, you'd still be limited to the BP6 bus speeds, limited to AGP 2x, and limited to the rotten PCI configurations of the BP6.

It kind of begs the question whether it'd just be better to get a VP6 instead and have 133+PCI bus max bus speeds, AGP 4X, 5 dedicated PCI slots and ATA100 Raid controller all available?
