BP6.Com Winamp Skin Beta 1

Post by Tim »

Howdy!

It's been a while since I've stopped in to post a word or two. I was talking to Derek (a.k.a. The Daredevil) last night and he told me you guys thought he was impersonating 2 people. :D Well physically yes, he's pretty much been driving the place maintaining it and doing a really nice job of it. I really need to get back to dropping in here more often as my free time allows.

Anyway, here's a winamp skin that I created last night.

Insomnia kicked in and I was debating between an astonshell.com theme for BP6 users or a Winamp player skin.

So here you go. Beta version 1.0 for Winamp.

*just copy the file to your skins folder in your winamp directory

I'll be back with new updates as insomnia permits. In the mean time check out our affilates and try out the winamp skin by listening to our network partners:

Nice work Tim. Looks good on my old Winamp 2.80.

Hope you're well.

(Hey, we need a WindowsXP BP6 theme!)

Like the skin dude - can you do a non-winamp-extension type download though, ie; a zipped folder with the text config files. The reason I ask is that it would be nice if I could use the skin on my Bp6, which is running BeOS and has an app called CL-amp that can use wianmp skins, but not in .wsz format.

Cheers ;o)

just download the file, rename it to .zip and extract ;)
as the WSZ format is just a renamed zip file

WSZ = Winamp Skin Zip BTW :D

Thanks, tried that - didn't work - CL-amp just goes to it's default skin - ah well, nevermind.

Hey Tom_Artosorse! It's been a while.

Have you tried it on SoundPlay?

Hi InactiveX - I'm still around! How ya doin' old buddy? ;o)

Never thought to try it with Soundplay - funny, I use soundplay an awful lot but cos it can only apply the winamp skins to the main window, I've always kind of ignored that function. Maybe try it later, just out of interest . . .
