That setting is for the OS/2 operating system. If you add more RAM to your system, the BIOS will pick up the change automatically.

Agreed, InactiveX. I forgot my second BP6 has my old Diamond Viper 770 Ultra TNT2. It has worked fine since I got my first BP6 in August of 1999. Mine is 32MB and no TV-Out.

Yes, I do this on both of my BP6's. Use the Adaptec SCSI controllers for booting the operating systems; running programs. The hard drives on the HPT366 controllers do data storage and have the system pagefile on them.

When you were trying to use one CPU, make sure you are using the socket next to the RAM sockets.

Many BP6ers use the Promise controller (PCI card) instead of the HPT366 controller on the BP6. I have used the HPT366 controller for over three years. But, I use an Adaptec SCSI controller to boot my OSes.
