Someone did repair their fan headers. The info should be hiding on the message board somewhere.

I'm on the road at the moment so you'll have to search :)

I find this version rather slow. Also, the new forum has many new user features and administrative features that I like. I think a new, fresh forum will help to reinvigorate BP6.Com.

So far converting the posts to the new system looks simple. Migrating the photo gallery and file database is another issue altogether.

A lot of 'em download stuff. There are many lurkers, that's for sure! Maybe we’ll see more activity once the new message board is installed.

and when exactly does that take place?

aparently not yet :P
You can take a peak though :)

Definitely swap the battery.

One other thing:

Once you reset the settings, does Windows show both processors?

After you resave the BIOS information, does it continue to produce that error?

If you unplugged the computer, it could mean that your CMOS battery is weak.

Yes, there is a slight sync-error with the database.

I am currently testing the conversion application for our new message board system. Everything will be well soon :D

The PSUs are about 70-100 dollars. The neat thing is that they are intelligent PSUs in the way that they control the on/off switch. Think about it, turning the car on and off constantly without properly shutting down the computer will kill it. The PSU can be set to send a signal to the mobo when acc...

Hey Derek, how about a little write-up on building your CarPuter? And please remember to keep your eyes on the road! Absolutely! I have a confession to make… As much as I am a computer geek, I’m a car nut too! I’m installing a data-logging system in the car; it monitors many things including ...

Mini-ITX

Has anyone played with VIA's EPIA brand of Mini-ITX mobos? I'm building a CarPuter and the EPIA board looks perfect for my application: Low heat, low power consumption, but all the functionality of a normal mobo.

I've ordered a few goodies already. I'll post some pics when they arrive :)
