Re: How Long does it take YOU?

ok, I've bean looking into a new system... and I'm not sure where I should put my money. I want the most WU for the $$. I'm thinking a new Barton (the cheapest one) and a nice little no frills nForce2 board... maybe I can hit 200mhz fsb... BTW: the guys at Hardocp.com OC a 3ghz p4 to 4.2 accouting ...

Have you found this board on amd's website anywhere? I would imagine they would be showcasing anything like this even if it is a prototype. They say they can got o 8 way cpu's now. That board should be nifty to look at.

It is all about the cubes you see. The stack better ;)

I would like to get 6 of them to build a computer desk with. Have two stacks of 3. Get some dual board for them all... cluster them together :)

I checked the fan I was using on my mp6 and they suck 0.12 amp each I did not use the 3rd fan header so I'm not sure of the limit but 0.5 amp seems to be stciking out in my head for some reason as a fan header limit for the board. I don't even know if that if for abit boards tho.

Tonite I noticed that Hal hit 79000 w/u's. Is that the end? Baja No I'm just turning them in when it is an even number now. I was checking my SetiQueue stats and it says I have turned in 99,465 wu's to the server and only 406 were dropped. So somwhere seti has eaten about 20,000 wu's that I have do...

Yes, I found it, but it's not really what I want. I'd like to have command line before all those drivers launch, and be able to copy files from one drive to another. Do you think it's possible? If your drive is FAT32 you can pop in a win98 boot disk and do everything I think you are wanting....

Our servers are hosted at RackShack (www.rackshack.net) and RackShack's data center is located in Texas. It works out perfectly because Tim happens to live in Texas too :) I manage all the servers remotely from my abode in Montreal :D So it is your own server on at their location? Howmuch does that...

Well I wnt form $0.009 per KWH to $0.059 per KWH. I went out and bought those light bulbs that use like 9w and put out 40w of light, but they are $5 a pop. Worth it when my electric bill will be $20 a month lower tho.

I don't think HAL6000 has access to all the computers he used to have. Yep, I quit my job and moved to Philly. Altho I do actually have access to all the computers I did before, backdoors are good eh ;), they tend to keep the machines off most of the time now. So does that mean you're going to fall...
