most geforce 2's need to be ran at AGP 1 spee for the system to remain stable, this can be done through the registry or the bios. THe bios usally fails for me so I have a reg file to change the settings for me.

it only unstable is something is pushing the grapgincs like maxpain or countyerstrike

MS will support 2k with service packs untill 2003 server is well established ... and they are only just startting to drop hotfixes for nt4. so I think 2k has at least 2 years for service packs, and upto 5 or more for hotfixes

The files are replaced by microsfot as soom as you access windows update, so maybe you need to change them for dummy files from somewere ... if you use windows update, I think there is no way to prevent MS spooping :D .

What would be cool is have the option of having it on or off by having a option with the user setup. then everyone would be happy :), but I think that would be too complicated to set up... but what do I know :)

I personally would prefer just the links being active, but I dont know about other people.
