the infamous bulding cap of death

i had a bp6 that WOULD NOT under any circumstances boot an OS (not even dos would work properly)

it had 16 buldged caps. i sold it to a friend who replaced the caps.. it's runnin solid with an uptime of over 6 months \o/

i am currently using my 4u rakmount case for y main computer. i have my ecs k7s5a(the second one) with my amd xp 2200+ i love it, there is LOTS of room, the case came with a 120mm case fan intake on the front and 2 80mm fans mounted on a bracket across the middle of the case blowing backwards. cooli...

i know most people don't like bush..

i smashed my gf's old hp POS computer.

i gutted the good parts and left the mobo...

this has happened to my ECS k7s5a mobo

it would, sorta work, but wouldn't... i jsut disabled it and used a pci 10/100

i never found a solution

i use 2K

i try to come on and at least try to read some a bit,

unfortunately i don't have much time lately

will it still boot tho?

you are correct on the low density

the BX chipsets DO NOT support high density ram..

trust me.. been there tried that
