I'm running Slackware 8.1 on my BP6 (soon to be Slackware 9 - just saw that it was release about a week ago) and all has been running fine. The HPT366 code in the latest 2.4.x kernels (currently using 2.4.20 but considering going back to the 2.5.x development - the bleeding edge :D currently at 2.5....

I was just wondering if anybody knew if nVidia's Linux drivers were multi-threaded so that they support SMP? Actually, along those same lines, are nVidia's Windows drivers multi-threaded too?

Could be that motherboard monitor or whatever you are using is reading the VTT voltage in core 1 instead of the actual core voltage. If I'm not mistaken, the C3 still uses the old PPGA socket 370 interface instead of the newer FC-PGA interfaces. Could be wrong though.

I'd go for it (if I didn't already have a BP6) - $AU200 seems really cheap compared to prices here in Melbourne. Roughly $200 to $300 for the same thing.

Wow, that is some fine speed - even if it does just hang! The highest I've ever gotten is 558 (using 124 MHz bus), but as soon as the memory would finish counting, it would just go into power saving mode and I'd have to turn it on and off again to get it to boot up.

It could be that the video card isn't getting enough juice if it keeps on hanging, that's especially the case with the GeForce2 cards, and it's been said that the BP6 isn't so good at supplying enough voltage to the AGP slot.
