there should not be any real reason not to believe that it would not work, cause there is not a lot of modding from FCPGA to FCPGA2. I will tell about my results with adapters as soon as I will get one Tualatin in my hands :P Voltages? BP6 has no problems with voltages, cause it can supply from 1.3V...

you are not wrong, Tualatins with 256kb cache are compatible with BP6 but together with powerleap neo370T adapter, which is ment only for these tualatins and not for PIII-S

yeah, man! I get your idea, but you did not get mine... :( you have your bridge of cold plate or soldered heatsinks or one super large or custom made heatsink - whatever you want! but it still a metal... ;) and when it is one piece it is flat right... or at least you would like to lap your super hea...

you go: my computer->properties, then go to startup and recovery section and just uncheck if it tells reboot when crash - you will have your blue screen ;)

if you are interested I have 486DX2 66MHz working CPU - just like 1 month ago we have upgraded.. :lol: :lol: :lol: to pentium S 166@225MHz :) (took from my boss, cause he wanted to throw it to the garbage :))) and also some old simms... well working mobo from 486 and an 8X CDROM :D failing modem 56K...

bad bad bad idea, man!... :D Just if you think about it right you will see that will never get your two CPU's exactly at the same level measuring from the motherboard and exactly horizontal when compared to each other... so in this way you will get less contact area and less heat transfer... :( not ...

Don't worry about the northbridge. I've got a 486 HSF and a tube of AS Thermal Adhesive with its name on it. Vampir, You are saying that the capacitors are not the limiting factor, but the Voltage Regulator? Where do I get a better unit from? I guess you should think about some nice piece of copper...

v2.30 is not compatible with winXP and does not work there.

on the other hand v2.31 is compatible with winXP, but is there anyone, who could have the reg number, PLEASE... :D

I think it is the only difference between them

well... I think your disks are equal, cause they are the same model if you are running in mirror... Besides... didn't you hear that IBM Deskstars had some problems? As I recall, Even IBM itself told that they are not ment for running 24hours a day, they are ment only not more than 8 hours per day......

it is not that you need to install newer drivers, but you are able to and they will work...

but do not use 1.28 drivers!
