well in the pharmacy you should get some 96º pure alcohol (unless they do not sell that in USA...) or just go to the licor shop and buy some cheap vodka :) because I think pure alcohol freezes at -113ºC and then it depends on the mixture with water. also you could use glycol alcohol (car refrigerati...

Bonjour tout le monde ! Thanks RRledford, I'll try it. Dj, here are answers about your questions : 1/ Why XP ? severals reasons : my usb alcatel modem only works with xp, and xp is nicer for games (even if I don't play very often). 2/ Windows update is a good idea, and, by the way, ATI said that th...

when CMOS battery gets weaker your clock gets slower and you start to "loose" the time, especially you notice the longer you are on without reboting. but WinXP pro has this function that it checks with online time periodically and corrects it :) I also have my batery dying, but still did not go to b...

Re: okay i see..... but where to buy it ?
go directly to www.powerleap.com and buy there. the shipping will cost you quite enough, but I did not find any place selling neo370s in Europe.NicroCide wrote:okay... well thats sad ... but a good place to buy the neo 370 converter... where would that be ? please note my home country is denmark.

I do not think his HDD is dying. I am using mine still and I sis not had to replace (luckily) - I got away with low level format from maxtor after few tries for tearing away those BAD sectors on my HDD - since then it is OK and no problems with any bad sectors or whatever, since I use promise :) bes...

Thanks for your response. Three questions, though: How do I know if I'm using HPT666? Is there a solution for the mouse/keyboard lockup issue? I'm assuming the voltage supply problem you're referring to is because of the non-functioning fans. If so, how do I remedy that, or can I? Also, why is this...

first, do not use HPT666, cause it will crash your HDDs (see other post). then there is an issue with random mouse/keyboard lockups, though the pc would still be working, but not responsive to anything. then it could be the problemwith the voltage supply to your mobo components: mosfets, capasitors ...
