What BIOS and what HPT driver?

Use an RU-series bios. Personally I just use one of the stock RUs or one with a different logo for the Energy Star portion of the screen. P3 microcode is really quite optional, as the board runs those chips fine without it. As for HPT bios/driver, the latest is typically your best bet, though I'd honestly suggest avoiding it altogether. Just make sure the driver and bios version are the same (i.e. 1.28 & 1.28). Lastly, the HPT bios flash mod does not work on the bp6.
