Re: New Abit VTT Problems
Hmmm... not exactly. If I get them right, they say that VTT is set to a wrong value in certain cases. But it´s not fluctuating. They don´t say what might cause the fluctuating VDimm voltage. But that´s annoying, of course. That´s not what I´d expect if I bought another Abit board.
If Abit should go the Asus way, there´s still Shuttle and MSI
BP6, RU BIOS, XP SP3, ACPI, 2x366@523(1,95V), Pentalpha HS + 1x 12cm fan @5V, 768MB, Powercolor Geforce 3, RTL8139D NIC, Terratec EWS64L, Samsung M40 80GB (2,5''), LiteOn CDRW
Uh... remotely related to the above topic: The Asus K8V has problems with defective capacitors:

(German, but with an English quote from Asus Taiwan)
Of course we already know that there are lots of other boards with capacitor issues. But it can rarely be tracked down to a single board model, and a specific capacitor type.
So: Where have all the good brands gone?
