Trouble installing Radeon 7000 64 AGP

Which BIOS revision are you using?

When you see the Award BIOS startup screen, look down in the lower left hand corner of your monitor screen. You will see a two row BIOS text message. The last two characters at the end of the bottom row, is the BIOS revision.

Example:

04/20/2000-i400BX-W83977-2A69KAISC-RU

The RU is the BIOS revision.

hey, i'm oso using a Radeon 7000 but 32mb..

i din experience any problems when i upgraded from SiS6326 to a Radeon 7000.

but i did experience the beep sound with i tried a S3 Trio PCI gfx on it..

does this problem only happen with reboot?
does it happen on a cold start?
how large is your powersupply?

Also...

Check all the connectors on the 7000, some might not be making full contact.

What's in your PCI 1 slot? Could be conflicting with the 7000. Try emptying out PCI #1 and see if that helps.
