Determining what voltage a video card might be...

Post by Blueneko »

I earned myself a video card after I was able to fix it with a new vantec chipset cooler, but now my main worry is wether the card is 1.5 spec to use in a p4 board which only can use 1.5 volt agp cards. is there a way to know or find out what voltage it would be? the card supports 1x/2x/4x. and it has the little notch at the end of the card.

Here sthe card

Supposedly the entire GF line is 1.5-capable due to the 4x compatibility. You might need to dig up the specs on the Nvidia reference card it's a copy of, as specific info on that particular card is lacking. Either way I hope you don't want to do much 3D work/gaming with it, as it's an ancient part, especially with a P4.
