Since I posted that link it seems to have piqued quite some renewed interest from this group :shock:

I'd never vouch for a mod that I haven't done, and this one works beautifully.

I did the procedure myself a couple of years ago and it really does work, although you'll be voiding your warranty.

Ill vouch saying that I did the mod and it was quite successful, i did use two seagate 15 gig drives
