Are the hard drives recognized by the controller itself (On the blue boot-up screen)?

If the new BIOS can configure & recognize the drives correctly on loading, then a floppy disk with the **MATCHING WIN2000/XP** driver for the HPT368 will need to be loaded at the point in the install where 3rd party drivers can be loaded from floppy.
Until Win2K/XP knows how to talk to the controller using this driver, you won't get far into the install process;
