This article by Tom's Hardware Guide describes how WindowsXP can be persuaded to do software RAID 5.

The technique involves altering three files with a hex editor, and allows the security, speed and capacity of RAID 5 at a very cheap price.

There are *almost* no bad BP6s. There are mostly bad caps.

No BP6s remaining

Thanks for the link Inactive. I was never a fan of software RAID but it does come in handy from time to time.
