saphire radeon 9800 pro with 256mb onboard, just look for the one with 4 chips on each side.

then you flash with XT bios and you have your 500USD card for 300... :woot:

it has the same core, memory, PCB etc as 9800XT with 256mb :D

and it IS RED!

I just got an ATI 9700Pro All-in-Wonder 128MB board from NewEgg for $200.
Check their "referbished" section for great deals.
I returned an Nvidia Geforce FX5700-Ultra because it would always boot up with the dredded "yellow spot" & CODE 10 Error - card would not start.
Tried loading & re-loading various driver versions to no avail.
best I could get was an occasional single boot with drivers working.
After that, next boot always killed the setup.
Motherboard is $40 ACORP 6A815EPD Dual P-III with (2) 1100Mhz CPUs
My other Nvidia FX5200 card does the same thing.
Hoping the ATI clears the problem. WinXP-pro, Intel 1000Mbps, Adaptec USB2.0 card, SB-Live 5.1, onboard Promise RAID, Striped Seagate Baracuda IV 80GB/2MB/7200.
If ATI has trouble too, may be other cards are crapping on the video.
Zero point energy
