Best drivers for Radeon AIW8500 in XP ?

Post by locomo10 »

From the thread:
http://www.bp6.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=1158&start=25
I'm having terrible problems (lock ups, garbled desktop etc.)
I was wondering what drivers people were using with an All-In-Wonder
Radeon 8500DV. I'm using XP Pro w/ 2 360 celly's @ 550 and a 300 watt
PC Power + Cooling PS.
Thanks,
loco

Had the same problem with my Radeon 9700 Pro. The RAM was bad so ATI sent me a new one.

Thanks Derek,
I put in a Nvidea FX5200 to tide me over, with no problems.
I'll try the AIW in a friends machine, and if it doesn't work there,
I guess I'll try to talk to ATI. How did you exchange yours?

I brought it back to the computer store I bought it at. They sent it out and lent me one until the new card came in (in about 2 weeks).
