Although the BeOS seems dead, it really is not. It still has a future.

I installed BeOS 5 once on the BP6 and it worked like a charm... :D
If you don't know what to do with your (old and obsolete  ) BP6, give it a try!

I'm still booting between WindowsXP and my proper OS, BeOS 8)

It really flies on SMP computers, and has a great BP6 monitoring app and drivers for the HPT366 (though I never use that damned interface).

OpenBeOS looks like it'll be really good when it's finished. As soon as it's useable I'm going to organize a partition for it.

BeOS forever!

Better hurry up and wait for OBE. It's going to be a while before it's stable. As for BE itself, it's a nifty OS, just not one with a whole lot of applications.

Hello again Tom! Glad your here now, and welcome. I think you'll find the people here are just as friendly and helpful as they are on BeShare.

InactiveX - sure I could do that - thing is I expect he wants to have it on his site - you need to get into BeShare and speak with SDO, ask him what he wants - he'll probs want an HTML file or text file from you. ;o)
