Just installed second CPU, strange stuff

I'd pull out the goofy processor and reflash the bios with RU final; there shouldn't be any real changes, but you never know. Perhaps one of the ones with the newer HPT code might be a good idea. Either way, flash the sucker with a single CPU, making damn sure none of the "cache bios" options are checked in the bios beforehand. After the flash leave one processor in there, make sure it works, then power down, unplug, and discharge the CMOS & settings. Power back up with one CPU and reset all your bios settings. Then power down again and try with the second processor. While you're at it give the board a good inspection, paying attention to caps, VRs, and whatnot to be sure they're up to spec and haven't been damaged.
