Won't boot from CD/Floppy

Just about any CDROM built in the past 4-6 years supports bootable CDs. Do the CDs and diskettes work in other machines? Your bios boot order set correctly?

So wait, the Award BIOS picks up the CD-ROM drive?
Do you have the BIOS set to auto detect drives?
I don't know if the HTP can boot from a CD, since the manual says not to hook up any optical drives to it, I have never done it.
