Getting USB to work (NJ bios)

Hello! I have a question about getting USB to work. I am running the NJ bios and Windows XP device manager says:
"Your computer's system firmware does not include enough information to properly configure and use this device. To use this device, contact your computer manufacturer to obtain a firmware or BIOS update. (Code 35)"

Is this a known problem? Do I need to upgrade to the RU bios? I hesitate to do this because my system is running stably now. Are there any alternatives? Thanks for your help!

You must upgrade your BIOS to "RU"! You'll notice better performance and the problems will be solved.
