BIOS hax0ring needed

Post by m0gely »

I have a Toshiba Satellite 1735 with a Phoenix BIOS. It had a 700MHz Celeron in it and I purchased a 1GHz PIII off of eBay to upgrade it. Unfortunately it boots up as a 700MHz PIII now. Everest shows an 88MHz FSB x 7, so it may not even be running at 700MHz. So, can anyone out there help me out and slip in the microcode? If you can I can email you the latest BIOS flash file for my laptop. I'm willing to paypal a little bit if that motivates you.

Or if anyone knows of a site where people do this sort of thing more often, post a link.

Sorry guys, the forum didn't notify me anyone replied. I will try biosmods, thanks.

@ Dave, I have 1.30 installed. Did that before installing the CPU. Here is the technical info on the PIII SL53S, and the Celeron SL4GX.
