I understand that WinXP-SP1 totally reworks the handlling of USB2.0 H/W.
These cards have triggered inumerable BSODs with the message:
"IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" on all (3) of my BP6/XP-Pro systems.
Removed one card entirely & got relief. I finally replaced the IOGEAR brand card with an Adaptec USB 2.0 card on one BP6 & it has stopped the crashes totally.
Anybody running no-name USB 2.0 cards & seeing the XP-SP1 as solving these frequent blue screen crashes? I don't want to have to buy (2) more Adaptec cards - pricey!
