I just bought a DVD drive this past weekend and am using OGLE and it works great. I tried to configure Xine but didn't have any luck. I am a realitive newbie (been running MDK 8.2 for about 3 months) I have updated to kde3.03 and mozilla 1.0. Anyway here is the link to the page for ogle.

Like I said, its real easy to install just download the rpms and go for it. I tweaked the drive with hdparm and its been working great!!!

By the way, I can't wait for MDK 9.0 to be released. They are on rc2 now so it shouldn't be long. Its a shame....... I was trained on M$ platforms and never realized how great Linux was as a desktop till July 4 weekend. I downloaded MDK and now I am windows free.
