HPT366 detected as ide0/ide1 even though no driver in kernel

if you compiled the Kernel with the"Boot off-board chipsets first support" , it could be the reason.
cause normaly the Promise-Controler is detected first,

As for the HPT controller, use the modified BIOS that has the HPT code removed.
