Consider yourself lucky! Now you can move up to the world of serious cooling for the BP6 and get yourself a pair of EverCool 715s or 725s.
Your CPUs will run measurably cooler & you can even slow down the 70mm fans enough to get a big drop off on noise without much loss of cooling.

what is so special about the golden orbs? i have seen a few at wholesale computer shows around here

and what was the reason for discontinueing them?

*grumble* I got one of those blue chipset thermaltake coolers (one notch too short to fit on bp6)
and it cut my middle finger when i was testing it on my board, i was guiding the wire to a better place, and i didnt notice the angle the thermal take orbs had on thier fins, and i felt a quick *UGH* and it was a gusher about 1/2 inch long........
thats when i found a vantec and its own little fan inside its own little heatsinks which works great!
