Problems after P3 mod....

Post by iSDn »

Hi!

This week i modded my bp6 to use P3's with Neo 370 adapters. Everything went fine, but my system wasn't very stable, so i changed my ec 10 resistor to a 1200microF but this still doesn' help, i had many system crashes. Then i did the Yoichiro's Ultimate VTT mod but i forgot to turn off the bios battery. After the mod i wanted to start my computer, but i doesn't boot and i don't get any output on my screen. Could it be, that i destroyed my bios ?? Is there anyway to get my bp6 working again, or must i buy a new one ??? Thanks for your help in advance.

Bye, iSDn.

PS: Excuse my bad english.

Abit probably has a few spares lying around as well. You might also want to invest in a good EEPROM flasher for your own use as well; helps when shit->fan.

Hi!
I'm sorry, because myreply took so long but i'm without internet access since a few months. My problem is solved, i made a stupid mistake. I soldered the ground cable of the Regulator on my printer port and not on the atx ground...shame on me. Now everything is running fine. Thanks for your help!!!

Bye, iSDn!
