Single P-III/1100E@110FSB=>1.21GHz

Post by RRLedford »

My 2nd BP6 upgrade from dual366@466 to single P-III/1100E-Win-XP Pro.
**11/5/02 upped voltage to 1.80=>1.74-1.79V Temp= ~93 F.
Booting OK now with CMOS speed INCREASED to 110MHz. Copper EverCool 715 sink+70mm fan throttled with Zalman speed controller.
Zalman LARGE heatsink on Northbridge chip
Geforce2/64MB/MX400; 256+128MB PC133; SB-AWE64/ISA; Maxtor 60G/27G/7G drives; LS120 Superdisk floppy; Kenwood 52X CDROM; LG DVD-ROM; Antec 380W PS; Promise ATA100; USB->MS-Mouse+MS-KB+SMC wireless LAN;

Finally 100% stable at 110MHz.

Bingo: 'Burning-in' your processor(s) is a step that almost everyone is forgetting these days!

(Sorry for the discussion).
