Permanent SoftMenu settings?

Post by mdutka »

Hi,

I wonder if it is possible to make Soft Menu settings permanent? As with "standard" BIOS they seem to vanish after hard reset, and they return to "CPU Default". This is somewhat inconvenient to get into BIOS and set all these options again and again on every power on...

Maybe it is not a problem to set FSB using BP6FSB, but it is not as simple with CPU voltages.

So, is there any BIOS patch/mod that will allow to keep Soft Menu settings between power on cycles?

Ok, just checked.

When you setup the cpu speeds using the custom settings and you want to overclock it, disable 'Speed Error Hold'

You are right, setting "Speed Error Hold" to Disabled solved my "problem"... Thanks!

Shame on me, I should have read this forum and ask Google - it is common "problem" to many Abit & SoftMenu users
