Socket 370 HS help

Post by Weedy »

i have a VP6 and im getting 1ghz P3's for it and im trying to pick some good HS for it and after some searching it looks like the Thermalright SK-7 would be a good choice since it can take many diff fans i should be able to find something to keep it under 40dB. Now the only problem is i cant find anywhere that sells one so i need recommendations on something that is equal or better. it must cool well (i plan to oc), be quite and cheap since ill need 2 ($100us HS is out of the question). Also Audiability takes precedent over cooling.

For the audiability issue you can always add 60 to 80mm adapters onto most heatinks allowing you to use slower spinning 80mm fans.

Hehe true..

Not sure where you would get S370 HS, ebay might be your best bet...

Globalwin used to do some good S370 heatsinks.

If I remember correctly (some one might be able to confurm this), Socket A coolers fitted on S370...

Just had a quick look around and found this:-

They are good and quiet.
