so please tell me how to make it run on higher frequences? does the volatge go down or up when i sellect more speed in FSB? is there some other BIOS tip you can help me with?

running a BP6 with RU version of BIOS, and WinXP Pro!

You might have problems with your PCI or IDE components if you use a higher FSB than 75 MHz, which means PCI and IDE bus are already overclocked to 37,5 MHz. The BP6 uses the 1/2 divider up to... 91 MHz FSB, IIRC. So you'd have to use at least 92 MHz FSB with a 1/3 divider to get the PCI/IDE clock down again. That would mean at least 600 MHz for the CPU. There are few PPGA-Celerons that are stable at that speed.

That is why the Celeron 433 is not considered the best choice for overclocking on the BP6. Most people prefer the 366s, many of them do 550 MHz / 100 MHz FSB easily. Mine don't, though (only stable at 523 MHz / FSB 95 MHz).

Just for grins goto www.wsu.edu, under student(s) enter "N8" and goto "N8's computer water cooling".

Take some time and read all the sections on the water cooling project indicated in the column to the left.

He used 433's (read his logic carefully!) and got 721 mhz! (not stable but he got there!

This may give you some ideas for your 433's.

the standard voltage is 2.0v
you can run the standard fsb down as far as 1.85v and it will still work.
I set mine to 1.80 and only one cpu came back. bugger.... 1.90 is ok for safe.

if you want to overclock, you need to start amping up the voltage.
72-75fsb, 2.0v
78-80, got to be 2.05 or 2.10v
ergo, needs better cooling. more cpu cycles, harder working and more voltage, more heat.
you want higher, you have to be prepared to start cooking eggs, or cooling it down.
fans on the case, front and back.

definitely the bx chipset cooling fan ( I really must get around to that)

it depends on CPU also, cause I could POST 366Mhz at their default at 1.3V, though these chips would have done 550MHz at 1.9V though I had stable at 1.6V at 366Mhz. so it DEPENDS.
