Cheap PPGA Socket Converter On Ebay

Post by looiwte »

Hello, have any of you tried this socket converter/Neo equivalent product? I'm thinking of installing a P3 with 100FSB on my second BP6. Hope the link works.

Don't think you can argue with the price.
Hope is a good thing...

Typo on Intel processor specs page?

Post by looiwte »

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Celeron 533 the last of the Socket 370 PPGA series? Well, it isn't according to this page, and I'm assuming it's a typographical error.

http://processorfinder.intel.com/script ... kgType=ALL

The list cites '370 pin PPGA' all the way till Celeron 1.4G, 100FSB.
Or is it a case of different definition, as in all Socket 370 CPU's are PPGA, while only some of them are flip chip (FPGA).
Hope is a good thing...
