ECS D6VAA, Pentium 3 1.4, Lin Lin 370 Tualatin Converter?

Post by onelegdis »

Just got hold of a P3 1.4S. I want to try it out on my D6VAA first and then play around with it on the BP6. Does the Lin Lin adaptor support P3 Tualatins or just Celerons Tualatins? Is there a difference with the pin outs/voltages etc?

I love it when a plan comes together  Success, 1.4 P3s (single)with adapter, up and running. Removed jumper B8+B9 on the Lin Lin (stupid name) to give me 133 FSB and bingo. Now to get it to run dual. Need another P3 and adapter.
Ill try and post some pictures this weekend after some stress testing.

How much are the cpus and adapters costing you?

If you can get them to run dual in the D6VAA I may do the same. My P3 700's are getting a little slow, even though they are running at 8**Mhz (cant remember the speed exactly).

Hi 24seven, got the P3 for £85 and the adapter for £10. Both on Ebay. I might be interested in selling the two P3 1Gig Coppermines i pulled from the D6VAA if your interested, but i want to see how stable the 1.4s is first.
