Since the Celeron1 overclocking is acheived by running the FSB speed at faster than the chip was spec'ed to run - the most overclocking is best done with the slower chips 300, 366, 400MHz. With these chips taken to a FSB speed of between 90-110 MHZ the processor reaches ~500-600MHz and the speed that data can be clocked to/from the CPU is also maxed out.

With the faster 533MHz CPUs, because it runs a much higher FSB multiplier (8.5) internally, the FSB speed can only be bosted slightly 10-15%. This results in a slow memory-to-CPU bandwith of 75-80MHz.
So, if you can get the 366 Celeron1s & they will do 550+MHz you will be in good shape. Some 366s just won't go that fast, but many will.
Dont forget the EverCool 715 copper HSFs with 70mm fans $16 ea.

the memory you can buy at www.crucial.com (I got the memory on the second buissness day - tomorrow...) with their memory selector for upgrades. there you will get the 256MB modules the BP& can support - they will be with 16 chips and dual banks. the mobo does not recognize new 256mb modules as 256, but only as 128MB, because it can support only 128MB per bank.
