Lets pretend that there are actually people out there that have no idea what IRC is or how/why it is used and mostly how to "get onboard."

Not that I am one of those people mind you :winking: , but educate those OTHER people how to sign up and lets see what happens.
There are *almost* no bad BP6s. There are mostly bad caps.

No BP6s remaining

First step would be to get a client.
Let’s assume these people are using windows, they are probably better off getting mirc. www.mirc.com (most commonly used windows client)

Install, setup nickname and some other stuff that’s fairly easy (I'll find a how-to in a moment)

Then connect to irc.bp6.com

Code: Select all

/server irc.bp6.com
Then join the #bp6 channel.

Code: Select all

/join #bp6
That’s a basic explanation. I'll go find a how-to on the web now.

Once I am back in front of my computers I'll join in. Our kitchen and bathroom are being renovated and they shut off the electricity in the house every now and then so I keep them shut off. I am writing this on my work laptop running XP I am sorry to say and I can't be bothered to look up decent IRC software for Windows. Any ideas would be appreciated though :)
