How did you flash the new 256K chip, if your BP6 BIOS was hosed?
Did you have access to another BP6? If yes, how do you boot it with a blank BIOS, prior to burning?

I believe you can get a BIOS chip programmed for the BP6 directly from ABIT for a nominal fee.

Or, perhaps someone has a dead BP6 & can loan you the BIOS to make a couple fresh copies.

I've never liked flashing BIOSs - ever since I downloaded a defective one from ASUS''s website to fix a WIndows problem, and proceeded to kill a mission critical PC right in front of my client. If you don't have another BIOS chip in hand, it's ABIT too risky.

I have (3) BP6 systems - but no burner to copy over to another EEPROM.
I could capture the image of working EEPROM to a file that you could use with your friend's burner. Do you know what S/W tool could be used to make such a file? I could E-mail you the result I we find one.
