fans full blast?
fans full blast?
can i run my fans full blast as long as i dont mind the noise?
I lay it out !!!! for you all to play it out !!!! .
It's said that some of the modern fans are too much for the motherboard sockets to power.
You should run them straight from the PSU 12V instead.
YMMV.

Good point. Although this depends entirely on your MB construction. Some have the 12V fan headers connected directly to the 12V on the motherboard so there is no real difference. However, this is not the case with BP6 that uses a transistor to control the voltage to the fans (that is why it is possible to regulate the speed). Pretty bad of Abit not to include info on how much current you can suck out...InactiveX wrote:It's said that some of the modern fans are too much for the motherboard sockets to power.
