Vcore problem

Post by Grond »

I have both Vcores set to 2.2. Sandra says they are both around 2.16 while motherboard montiro says cpu 0 is 2.16 but cpu 1 is 1.52. Cpu 0 has always run about 2 degress celsius hotter, right now they are at 43 and 41. Who do you think is right?

2.16 is close enuff for 2.20
cpu 1 often will show the VTT unless you set the prog properly.
std fans will give about 3-7 degrees difference. I got them matched, but it took huge copper coolers with good fans.

no prob so far.

unless you're overclocking, they will run at 1.85v, meaning less damage and cooler.

Well I tried changing the setting to show Vcore but it didn't seem to work. After learning its showing the VTT though I decided I preferred that.

no need to worry if they swing a fraction from where they're supose to be.
the inaccurate measurements are caused by temp changes, electronic interfearance, etc
yea, back from the dead

If it ain't broken, mod it until it is

Grond,
have you tried running lower vcore on those cpus?
unless you are seriously oc'ing you can probably drop to 1.9v or lower.
There are *almost* no bad BP6s. There are mostly bad caps.
