Dual CPU Motherboard for FV524RX466 128kb 466mhz celeron

Post by metaverse3 »

Hello,

Thanks for this useful forum. I have a dual 466 celeron that ran in a BP6 which suffered from leaky caps and a drowned board..RIP. I don't think I'm going to bother resurrecting. Is there an SMP board on the market alternative to the BP6 that will run these celeron CPU's ? I understand they are PPGA and if I recall from a couple of years ago, they won't run in a FC-PGA board.. Is this correct ? I want to breathe life into this machine since it served me well as a Linux workstation.. Can I do something with the Socket 370 to Slot 1 convertor boards ? TIA
