Severe memory problems... HELP!

Hi electrix, welcome to BP6.com.

First of all, did you ground yourself while cleaning the board. You might of zapped your board or your memory :cry:
Secondly, test your memory on another pc or borrow some good memory to test on your board.
Thirdly, check the board for bulging or leaking capacitors, the small cylindrical parts that are dotted all over the board.

Come back to us with the results.

Im affraid thats not rust, its electrolyte! Your Caps are leaking. Check this thread and this artical artical for more info. It can be fixed if your happy about using a soldering iron on your beloved BP6!
